About Us





Sean Spanbauer (Nutri-Sean) is a Sports Dietitian/Nutritionist and Strength and Conditioning Coach specializing in sport, tactical, and occupational performance. He is no stranger to the human performance industry, having spent 11 years as a personal trainer and 17 years as a sports dietitian. His experience includes years working with amateur and pro athletes to Olympic and world champions as well as our nation's elite warfighters, police and firefighters.

Sean is a retired Army Officer with over 25 years of service. He spent many of those years working in the Special Operations community as a leader within the human performance program. On the athletic side, Sean spent 12 months as a Sports Dietitian Fellow at the U.S. Olympic Training Center assigned to work with a variety of sports teams and individual athletes. Since 2014, he has consulted for the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee as well as multiple other National Governing Bodies, college teams, police departments, fire departments, and sports performance organizations.

In addition to being a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, Sean is a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and an internationally certified level 2 kinanthropometrist (ISAK). He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Kent State University and a Master’s Degree in Nutrition from Baylor University.
